Project NAS is a recognized South Carolina Non Profit Corporation dedicated to reducing recidivism of incarceration in South Carolina. Project NAS encourages whole person development by promoting Self Evaulation, Education, Employment Readiness, Finance Management, Group Work and Creating new social networks.
Project NAS serves a population with unique needs, individuals recently being released from South Carolina Department of Corrections, Youth being released from The Department of Juvenile Justice, At risk youth and the families of this underserved population.
The programs at Project NAS (Not A Statistic) is to enhance economical opportunities, broaden scopes as it relates to social, intellectual, physical wholeness, promote good citizenship and to act in the capacity of a catalyst between individuals with legal challenges and employers.
Project NAS ( Not A Staistic) Social Justice Research and Advocacy Center is a certified 501c3 organization who is dedicated to empowering individuals with imperative life skills needed to become productive and contributing members of society. We provided the following services
At Project NAS, we believe in the in the " Holistic approach" and this means that we meet our members where they are as it relates to their biological, sociological. psychological, financial, cultural, and spiritual needs. The staff of Project NAS have a understanding that we may not be able to accommodate all members in house. Therefore, we use a highly sophisticated referral system.
